Ok, this has nothing to do with auto parts, machine work, engines or parts.  But…. I thought I would spice up the blog by sprinkling in a fews photos not related to engines.

I took a trip to France a few years ago, these are some photos I took while walking around various cities.

These are from Bordeaux, France.  Enjoy!

This is the Plaza across from the Opera National de Bordeaux.  It is huge!  We were strolling around at night enjoying all the lights and grand architecture.  Bordeaux is a very walkable city.  You want to stop and gaze at everything.

Bordeaux is a port city on Garonne River in southwestern France.  It is an international tourist destination for good reasons.  The architectural and cultural heritage on every street is a wonder to behold.  You feel so small walking around.

Look how small all the people look in my photos.  The building are on a grand scale.  If you love architecture, this is a city for you.

We took the Metro tram to get around the city, it’s pretty cool.  It’s a great way to see the city instead of driving.  Since we cannot read French, it was easy to get turned around (aka lost), so the metro was a convenient solution.

That sums up my short visit to Bordeaux, France.  If you ever get the chance to go, do not hesitate.  It’s a beautiful city.
